Tomato Packaging Facilities:

One of the most challenging aspects of our repack operations was to institute a tomato repack facility. In order to meet our customers high quality standards we at Desiderio Produce established Desi's Pride Packing in the Spring of 1990.

Our Tomato Repack Facility handles our "Desi Pride Label" in addition to your Private Label. Here are some of the key components to our Tomato Repacking Department

1) Two state of the art ripening rooms. These rooms are climatically controlled to ensure the tomato's ripen as if they were on the vine.
2) Chlorinated hand grading and sorting line. Here is where the tomato's are washed and graded by our professional staff. This is done to ensure that no sub-standard product goes into our pack.
3) Two F.A. wrapping machines capable of producing a variety of packages to choose from, by adding your company Logo on the film we can make this your personalized package.
